Maureen Lawlor is one of the best recognised singing coaches in the West of Ireland, and runs her
business, Centre Stage Vocal Academy from Ballina, Co Mayo. She approached us here at Shutter
Fever Photography recently with a view to organising a photoshoot for her business. With our vast
experience in business photography and headshot photography we were happy to help.
Maureen’s brief for the photoshoot included headshot photography for herself and her team, along
with creating a suite of images to use across her various marketing activities and social media.
Building an online presence is imperative for any business in today’s world and it was important to
Maureen that the images would illustrate the professionalism of herself and her team, along with
showcasing her services.

On Location Photography

The photoshoot was very enjoyable for everyone. We managed to get some great shots of Maureen
and her team, using varied set ups. The resulting headshots screamed professionalism, taken on a
white background for maximum effect. We also got some lovely shots using props brought in by
Maureen herself, and these were especially effective in bringing some personality and brand
recognition to the images. In addition to this, to fulfil the more creative element of the brief, we
included some imagery of online singing classes, which succeeded in showcasing the process and
bringing lots of life to the photoshoot. These images are also great for helping clients to understand
how the classes work at first glance.

Maureen was delighted with the suite of images we created during the photoshoot and she will be
using them on her new website, along with on marketing materials to promote her singing classes.
The brand images are also perfect for use on social media and for PR activities.
