At Shutter Fever we are highly experienced in all types of product photography and also food
photography, using our skills and expertise to ensure the products are presented to their best
advantage. We recently completed a very enjoyable project for Corrib Deli. Corrib Oil has become a
household name throughout the years and in 1991 they opened their first convenience store, now a
feature at almost all Corrib Oil locations. The addition of their Corrib Deli food counters to the mix has
succeeded in earning them extra status as an award winning food outlet. The Deli counters have
become a firm favourite with all of their customers, providing fresh, wholesome foods at reasonable
prices.

Corrib Deli approached us with the aim of setting up a food app, which would allow customers to pre-
order food for collection instore, hence streamlining the food preparation process and avoiding
unnecessary queues. For the app, they required professional shots of their key dishes in order to
make the overall offering look as exciting as possible.

For this project we set up an on-location shoot, working closely with the head chef, who prepared
multiple dishes for photography. We styled and presented the freshly prepared foods on a range of
backgrounds, created especially to compliment the app and showcase the food in to its best
advantage. The resulting images from the food photography shoot were used to drive conversions to
the food ordering app, promote online ordering via social media and also for poster, billboard and
point of sale materials. We used best practices in food preparation throughout the photoshoot, making
use of our professional lighting to give the food life and enhance the overall effect. With clever styling
and use of simple props such as coloured materials and cups of tea, the food in the photos looked
almost too good to eat!
